The idol showcase is a non-competitive performance featuring cosplayers from idol fandoms of all genres. Groups will practice and audition to perform for a live audience, and typically involves dancing and sometimes singing. Idol showcases are a way to tribute Japanese idol culture and promote a positive community within the idoling/cosplay scene! Attendees should expect a very interactive experience with lots of shouts, cheers, and penlights! The audience will get to see all sorts of different idol franchises, from Love Live to Ensemble Stars, and maybe even a Kaigai (or overseas) idol! Music can range from heavy metal to sweet and calm piano! The range is endless! Make sure to bring your penlight and a supporting shout!
