Walter E. Jones Walter Emanuel Jones is an American actor, martial artist, singer, and dancer. He is best known for playing Zack Taylor, the original Black Ranger, in the popular TV show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He also uses the name Tre Emanuel for his music.
Walter Jones became famous for his role as Zack Taylor. Zack was the original Black Power Ranger in the Power Rangers TV series. He played this character from 1993 to 1994. Walter left the show during its second season. Another actor, Johnny Yong Bosch, took over the role of the Black Ranger.
