“Into the Idolverse”, a performance based event where participants can go onstage and perform dance or vocal performances! Hosted by Katz*Maru- this year, we will have a theme of all things regal- from princesses, queens, princes, kings, knights, jesters, etc! Following the theme is NOT REQUIRED and won’t affect your application, but encouraged!
Requirements:
4 minute max per performance (HARD MAX)
Must send in a video application of the dance you plan on performing
Applications open February 1st and end August 19th
Live Vocals and original idols are okay!
Idols under the age of 18 needs to have a guardian sign a permission slip
Cosplay isn’t necessary but encouraged
group of 5 members max
75% OF YOUR MEMBERS MUST BE PRESENT IN THE VIDEO! Solo- 1 person required. Duo- 2 people required. Trio- 3 people required. Quartet- at least 3/4 people required. Quintet- at least 4/5 people required
Things to Note:
There is no projector for the event to showcase images on screen
All music and performances will be approved by the Idolverse team
“Into the Idolverse” will be taking place on Sunday, September 20th
Badges to this year’s event will be required in order to participate
All performers are requested to arrive for the event an hour prior to start
No projectiles will be allowed to be thrown into the audience
There will be opportunities to be able to test out the stage on Friday night and before the showcase
Outfits must be in accordance to the convention dress code as this is a family friendly event
Outfits that are revealing may need to be reviewed or properly fitted to avoid accidents
Applications are NOT first come first served, as each application is reviewed
In the event that two accepted applications are using the same song- application that was sent first will use the first choice song
Videos must be granted for access to our team before submission
NOTE: complete application must be filled out to be able to qualify. Any missing information will make application subject to disqualification
